You'll need a bulb, a housing, and an outdoor-rated extension cord.

Bulb: a 30-watt PAR-series reflector spot bulb should do. These are sold
for track lighting and ceiling fans.

Housing: look for a clamp-on work light. Most of them are plastic, which
is fine--all it does is shelter the bulb, which has its own reflector
built in.

Aim the bulb at the feeder from a couple feet away. Use your bare hand to
judge the result.
