Hi y'all,
This is my third season with this one. I'm growing it in a
3gl pot. Mine
looks like it might wanna be a shrub this year. Tough plant, tolerant
of
heat and humidity, doesn't like a full day of sun on the sandhill
I live on,
but does well here 15 mi. from the coast in part sun/shade, produces
lotsa
blooms starting mid-summer thru frost, and seems more popular
with
butterflies than hummers, based on my observations. Hummers do
use it,
though.
I gotta keep it y'all...Ms. Parker hails
from Beaufort, SC and named the
plant for her grandson (as I was told.)
Cheers,
gary
