• One 1.5-HR MEETING/WEEK, [Wednesday 1:30-3:00 PM] for first 7 weeks; meetings will be in the collections area of the appropriate section unless announced otherwise:

WEEK 1 (Sept. 1): Ornithology (V. Remsen)

WEEK 2 (Sept. 8): Herpetology (C. Austin)

WEEK 3 (Sept. 15): Genetic Resources (R. Brumfield)

WEEK 4 (Sept. 22): Ichthyology (P. Chakrabarty)

WEEK 5 (Sept. 29): Mammalogy (M. Hafner)

WEEK 6 (Oct. 6): Paleontology (J. Schiebout)

WEEK 7 (Oct. 13): Archaeology (R. Saunders)

 

• From this point on, students work with the Curator in their Section of choice on more specialized projects, 2-3 hrs/week, TBA in consultation with the Curator or Collection Managers:

 

WEEK 8 (TBA Oct. 18-22):  Intensive sessions within area of specialization

WEEK 9 (TBA Oct. 25-29):                 

WEEK 10 (TBA Nov. 1-5):                  

WEEK 11 (TBA Nov. 8-12):                

WEEK 12 (TBA Nov. 15-19):               

WEEK 13 (Nov. 22-26): no meeting (Thanksgiving week)
