Birds of Louisiana book project
Remsen, with co-authors Steve Cardiff, Donna Dittmann, and Paul Dickson, are working on a book on the birds of Louisiana. The book will include information on status, seasonal (including bar graphs) and geographic distribution, historical trends, habitat, lists of important records for individual species, diet, seasonal high counts, and subspecies identification. Family chapters for the landbirds are now written and being fine-tuned. We hope to have volume 1 (the landbirds) in press sometime in 2013.
