..............Same for Lac Pool, except that you have to figure out if you are in the Hayes Quad or in the Lake Misere Quad.  The dividing line between the Hayes Quad to the north and the L. Misere Quad to the south is as follows:  If you are driving south on Illinois Plant Road, you are in the Hayes Quad all the way to the first T intersection on the refuge itself (this is where there's a kiosk and where WTKites stage at sunset).  If you turn right (W) toward the boat launch (where the harrier roost was/is), then you are still in the Hayes Quad.  If you turn left at the "T" onto the diagonal stretch of road headed towards the auto loop, the road eventually turns due east and you come to a 4-way intersection- that's also all in the Hayes Quad.  Same for the northernmost E-W stretch of the one-way auto route.  Once you start south towards the "Vermilion Flycatcher-Yellow Warbler" spot (where the auto loop becomes one-way), you are in the L. Misere Quad.  So, basically, anything right along those northern E-W roads should count in the Hayes Quad but anything a ways out in the marsh to the south of those roads should be included in the L. Misere Quad.  Let me know if this is more confusing than ever.  Steve Cardiff
