Add Tringa erythropus (Spotted Redshank) to main list

 

 

Tringa erythropus is currently. on the SACC Hypothetical List, with the following entry:

 

Tringa erythropus Spotted Redshank. Sight record for Tobago, 13 February 1983 (Fisher 1998, ffrench & Hayes 1998, Kenefick & Hayes 2006).

 

 

On 16 June 2022, Martyn Kenefick and Nigel Lallsingh found and photographed an alternate-plumage on Trinidad.  The record was accepted by the Trinidad and Tobago bird records committee (Kenefick 2023).  Here’s the photo from the published report:
